DPI's ISE 2010 Sneak Peek
DPI's ISE 2010 Sneak Peek

Enlisting a 360 degree dome, full resolution 3D interactivity, long-life LED technology and more, DPI’s showcase will be THE must –see booth at ISE from Feb. 2-4, 2010. By demonstrating a selection of our projection displays’ unique application capabilities, DPI’s booth (#1G67) will present a sample of the flexibility and adaptability offered by our commercial projection systems.

Anchoring this year’s booth will be the first ever fully-illuminated, 360 degree multi-projector dome. Over 39’ in diameter and almost 20’ tall, the dome’s interior will be illuminated by way of six TITAN 1080p Dual 3D projectors. An approximate 12 million pixel array of imagery will be seamlessly projected within the 360 dome. Through equal parts ingenuity and creative construction, the projectors will be mounted in a way that creates a flawless, unobstructed image on the dome’s interior. Special thanks to UK-based companies HoloVis and 7th Sense for providing their expertise and software. Attendees simply have to see our 360 degree presentation first hand.

Within the dome, four traditional screens will display content from some of DPI’s newest projectors, including the single chip M-Vision 1080p-260 and M-Vision 1080p LED as well as the all new 3-chip HIGHlite Cine 260 and TITAN Silent Series. All are new to the European market, and all introduce key solutions and new capabilities to a wide array of commercial applications.

Having developed and shipped our first 3D projectors over three years ago, DPI is well known as the premier 3D projection experts. As such, we will be displaying truly innovative 3D applications in our ISE booth through further partnership with HoloVis and 7th Sense. A 10’ active 3D tracking simulation will be rear projected outside the dome by way of another TITAN 1080p Dual 3D. Attendees will experience how professional industries apply immersive 3D through this fascinating demonstration.

In addition to our projection line, DPI is a key innovator in other aspects of display technology as well. ISE will provide a testing ground for some of these products, including auto-stereoscopic (glasses-free) 3D, high quality LCD flat panel displays for digital signage, LED cubes for command and control and much more. Remember to visit booth #1G67 to see the future of projection displays!
