DIGITAL PROJECTION LAUNCHES COMPACT SXGA PROJECTORS FOR APRIL DELIVERY
Manchester,
19th April 2001 - Digital Projection International - a wholly owned
subsidiary of IMAX Corporation - announced the addition of three new
projectors to its product line-up as well as a price reduction to its
popular HIGHlite 5000gv. All four products are well suited for mid- to
high-range staging and systems integration applications.
The
launch includes two units that feature native SXGA (1280 x 1024)
resolution for premium clarity and superior brightness when displaying
high definition video, computer and HDTV formats.
The
three new projectors - available in April 2001 - will be demonstrated
(along with the 5000gv) at NAB 2001 in Las Vegas (April 23 - 26, Sands
Expo Centre).
