leading digital projector manufacturer based in Manchester, today
announced the addition of two new large venue projectors to add to it's
successful product line-up. This super-rugged THUNDER range, has been
specifically designed for the most demanding environments including
staging and rental, broadcast and large fixed installations. The
THUNDER 9000gv benefits from 10,000 ANSI lumen light output and an XGA
(1024 x 768) resolution with optional SD-SDi. The THUNDER 10000sx
features 9,500 ANSI lumens and SXGA (1280 x 1024) resolution with
optional SD-SDi or HD-SDi. Both
THUNDER displays feature composite, component and DVI inputs as
standard. A unique link mode function offers conversion of analogue and
digital sources to DVI output, making them ideal for easy stacking and
multiple link capability. This function offers crystal clear images and
the potential of 160,000 ANSI lumens brightness without the need for an
external splitter. The THUNDER models' PC memory card slot enables easy
exchange of memory settings between projectors. The
two new data/video THUNDER displays, available in Spring 2002, feature
a rigid chassis design (84kg/186lbs), integrated carry handles and
mounting points. Each projector includes memorised lens mount for
automatic optical resizing between aspect ratios, a quiet 48dB and
seamless switching, which allow clean and continuous displays perfect
for any application.
The highly acclaimed 3-chip DLP™ technology from Texas Instruments can
be found at the heart of these new THUNDER displays, enabling the
projectors to produce stunning image quality, which Digital Projection
