DIGITAL PROJECTION ANNOUNCES NEW HIGH-BRIGHTNESS SHOWLITE PROJECTION SYSTEMS
Projectors Employ the Latest Poly-Silicon LCD Technology

- Digital Projection Inc. (DPI), an Emmy® Award-winning manufacturer of
high-performance projection systems, announced the launch of the
SHOWlite 6000gv and 5000sx+ projection systems.
The
new SHOWlite series employ high-performance 1.4-inch poly-silicon LCD
technology and deliver brightness up to 6,000 ANSI lumens, native
resolutions up to SXGA+ and contrast ratio performance of 700:1. The
SHOWlite's utilize dual 275W high-intensity discharge (HID) lamps or-as
an option-dual 160W HID lamps for ultra-long lamp life of 6,000 hours.
The
SHOWlite 6000gv and 5000sx+ feature technologically-advanced
DigiScale®-accurate image resizing for faithful reproduction of all
sources-and DigiView®-optimized video processing, deinterlacing and 3:2
pulldown-for precise reproduction of video and HD sources.
Additionally, DigiWarp® provides user-definable control over all image
geometry to accommodate unusual applications and irregular screen
surfaces.
The
new SHOWlite projectors are perfectly suited for a variety of
applications that demand low-cost, high-lumen LCD performance,
including corporate boardrooms, training and education, religious and
rental and staging.

will exhibit the SHOWlite 6000gv for the first time at NAB 2003 (April
7 to 10, Las Vegas). Both the 6000gv and 5000sx+ are currently in
production and available for shipment to dealers and DPI's certified
