DIGITAL PROJECTION INTERNATIONAL LAUNCHES NEW HIGHLITE 8000DSX+ PROFESSIONAL SERIES PROJECTOR
KENNESAW,
GA, (July 2, 2004) - Digital
Projection International (DPI), an Emmy Award-winning manufacturer of
high-performance projection systems, announced the launch of its second
'Professional Series' HIGHlite projector, the HIGHlite 8000Dsx+. Its predecessor, the higher-brightness HIGHlite 12000Dsx+, was introduced in May 2004.
The SXGA+ native resolution HIGHlite 8000Dsx+
provides an excellent combination of lumen output (8,000 ANSI lumens)
and ultra-rich contrast (1800:1 full-field). The combination makes the
projector an extraordinary solution for many different applications,
ranging from visualization and command and control to elite staging and
medium-to-large venue system installations.
The feature-rich HIGHlite 8000Dsx+
can support any video or computer source, includes four-side soft-edge
blend capabilities and can be configured to incorporate advanced
options such as seamless cross-fade and user-definable geometric warp.
DPI's HIGHlite 8000Dsx+
can be equipped to include the mechanical design elements shared by all
of its Professional Series projectors, including an exclusive
rigging/stacking system with integrated pitch and roll adjustments.
This ingenious configuration renders the 8000Dsx+
"ready to rig or stack" right out of its transit case. The system's
three integrated chassis-leveling "jack" points enable users to quickly
optimize projector pitch and roll to the exact application
requirements.
"The new HIGHlite 8000Dsx+
is a great complement to our other new HIGHlite and LIGHTNING
Professional Series projectors," said Mike Levi, president of Digital
Projection, Inc. "As a whole, our lineup of highly-capable and
easy-to-use 'Pro' Series projectors can serve any staged application or
permanent installation requiring at least 8,000 ANSI lumens, ultra-rich
contrast, precise geometry and high resolution."
The new HIGHlite 8000Dsx+ will begin shipping in August 2004.
