Atlanta, GA – 1/30/2017 – Digital Projection International (DPI), an Emmy® Award-winning manufacturer of high-performance display solutions, announces the hire of Rob Atkins as Southeast Market Development Manager. Atkins will replace Richard Hill who was promoted to National LED Display Solutions Manager. Atkins assumes responsibility for managing all of DPI’s sales through the company’s extensive Commercial A/V, Home Cinema, Rental & Staging and Simulation/Visualization markets in the Southeast U.S. region. Atkins joins the Digital Projection team with 20 years experience in the A/V industry.
Having previously served as a Manufacturer’s Rep for DPI at the HWP Company for the past 3 years, Atkins brings a level of product and market expertise that is rare for a new associate. Prior to being a Rep for major product lines such as Digital Projection, Shure, and QSC, Atkins served as Southeast Regional Manager for Middle Atlantic Products from 2007-2013. A decade of experience in the integration, event production and A/V distribution businesses preceded Atkins’ tenure at Middle Atlantic.
