ATLANTA, GA – (November 17, 2015) – Electric Picture Display Systems (Melbourne, FL) recently upgraded the 360 degree full mission bridge simulator display system at the Seafarers Harry Lundeberg School of Seamanship (SHLSS). The SHLSS is located on the campus of the Paul Hall Center for Maritime Training and Education in Piney Point, MD. Fully STCW compliant, the simulator received ten Digital Projection International (DPI) M-Vision LED projectors for its new display system.
R.P. Higgins, President of Electric Picture, noted that, “The M-Vision LED projector was our first choice for this project in that it is extremely reliable and its past performance and value on other maritime projects made it a natural fit for the full mission bridge like they have at Piney Point. We implemented the display system with the goal of many years of dependable use for our customer with very little maintenance and the M-Vision LED projector helped us with that goal. ”
DPI will demonstrate its suite of solid-state projection solutions, including the M-Vision LED, in booth #970 at I/ITSEC 2015 in Orlando, Florida, from November 30 – December 4, 2015.
Electric Picture will demonstrate a multi-channel M-Vision LED projection system in booth #1288 at I/ITSEC 2015 in Orlando, Florida, from November 30 - December 4, 2015.
