Thank you for your interest in Digital Projection at CEDIA 2009 in Atlanta, Georgia. Below you can find links to our current company literature, as well as a summary of the products we showcased at the show. Again, thank you for stopping by and experiencing our dynamic home cinema displays – the most extensive and capable DLP® product lineup available in the world!
Digital Projection crafted one of the most often-discussed booths at CEDIA 2009. In addition to the numerous new products launched, Digital Projection International was the proud recipient of a CEDIA Manufacturers' Excellence - Best New Product Award with the TITAN 3D. Already well-recognized in the commercial AV channel, the TITAN 3D was the only projector recognized specifically for an award at the show, and our team considers it a huge honor. Thank you to both CEDIA and the judging council for recognizing our hard work and innovation. We're already planning our entry for next year! Our initial screening area featured DP’s LIGHTNING Reference 1080p providing awe inspiring 3-chip DLP® imagery on a sequence of 9 hanging panels. Additionally, our TITAN 1080p-700 and TITAN sx+ 700 nearly replicated the color depth of the LIGHTNING by utilizing DP's exclusive xenon color-mode and ColorMaxTM calibration. One of our newest additions, the remarkably affordable yet powerful M-Vision Cine 260 had the difficult job of producing imagery alongside our biggest displays, yet held it's own and commanded a large amount of praise. Even with the massive amount of ambient light on the screen, the M-Vision Cine's 2,000 lumens and 3000:1 contrast produced bright, rich colors.
Also on display was the sleek new TITAN enclosure, the CINEskin. Complete with sound-dampening insulation, easy installation points, thermal management system and an optional anamorphic lens, the CINEskin allows yet another option for installing our precision displays in the world's most elite home cinemas.

A sequence of four screens greeted the thousands of attendees as they moved into the second tier of the booth. To the far left, our brand-new HIGHlite Cine 260 showed just how good a 3-chip DLP display can look, even at lower price points. Two center screens displayed a compelling comparison of UHP and LED technology, with the new M-Vision Cine LED on top and iVision 30-1080p on bottom. Even with some ambient light spilling into the viewing space, the LED produced the saturated, deep tones and black levels of a 3-chip display.
The final screen in the second tier displayed content from the only large-venue turnkey 3D system on the market (the TOTAL 3D Experience System -- click here for the spec sheet). As others showed prototypes that were at least a year away and tied to a tv panel, DP and Mechdyne showed their complete system, ready to ship in 60 days. Live gaming, 3D movie previews and more were demonstrated throughout the show. Additionally, Mechdyne and DP supplied 3D workshops each day of the show, so that dealers could learn how to implement an active-3D stereoscopic experience today. DP dealers have a tremendous competitive advantage in the 3D space, and we were overwhelmed with the positive feedback received from both the demos and the 3D displays.
3D was a big topic at CEDIA. For Digital Projection, who already has numerous 3D displays in commercial applications, the question wasn't about COULD we show 3D. Our 3D display motivations are the same as our existing single and 3-chip product line -- we wanted to create and showcase the most impressive, saturated imagery possible. Our Ultimate 3D theater did just that, creating the most immersive 3D experience on the entire show floor. Thanks to Stewart Filmscreen for the largest CineCurve screen ever built -- 18' of dazzling, immersive 3D!
DP's CEDIA Events

On Thursday night, DP threw a huge High-Altitude Bash on the top two floors of the Westin Hotel in downtown Atlanta. Only minutes from the CEDIA Expo, we had over 550 dealers, press partners and industry associates spend an evening of music, food and excellent conversation with us. Thank you to everyone that came out to help us celebrate our most successful CEDIA show ever!
On Friday night, DP entertained our elite 2009 Reference Showroom Dealer group at the Palm Restaurant in Buckhead. A private event, the evening presented the perfect opportunity for DP to get to know a select group of dealers without the distractions of the show floor. Thank you to all of our Reference Showroom Dealers -- we're already looking forward to the 2010 event.
Thank you to everyone that joined us. This was the greatest CEDIA in our company's history, and we are truly inspired by the massive show of support we received from the Consumer AV community.
