KENNESAW, GA, (February 8, 2005) - Digital Projection International (DPI), an Emmy® Award-winning manufacturer of high-performance projection systems, officially introduced a new 3-chip DLP™ home entertainment projector with 2048 x 1080 native resolution, the 10000HD R. Along with the company's flagship Reference Display, the 35HD R, DPI now offers two high-brightness projectors employing 2K resolution within its home entertainment lineup.

The 10000HD R, the world's lightest and smallest 2K x 1K resolution 3-chip DLP™ projector, provides an excellent combination of 10,000 ANSI lumen output and incredibly rich contrast of up to 2000:1. The combination makes the projector an extraordinary solution for a diverse range of premier home entertainment applications. The projector can support any video, HD or computer source and can be configured to incorporate advanced options.

“The new 10000HD R is a perfect complement to our already powerful Reference Display lineup,” said Mike Levi, president of Digital Projection, Inc. “Customers requiring native HD projection are becoming more prevalent as the quality and quantity of available content has grown exponentially. The new, mid-sized chassis 10000HD R sets the benchmark for image quality and features set in its performance class.”

The 10000HD R will begin shipping in March 2005.
