CEDIA 2006 is only days away! Here at DPI, we are looking forward to meeting with all of our Dealers and Reps, and we expect
What To Expect:
DPI will be showcasing our latest and most advanced projection technology in an environment to let you see the difference among the hottest current and emerging home cinema displays. In our theater (booth #558), we will be showcasing side-by-side comparisons of our 720p, 1080p, 1-chip and 3-chip projectors, including our first-ever 3-chip 1080p display specifically developed for home cinema. Our team from around the U.S. and the U.K. will be on hand to answer your questions and guide you through our current line of cutting edge displays.
Please note: There will be limited access to the DP booth theater from 10am to 11am on Friday, September 15th. We are hosting a media only event at which we will formally introduce all of our new products to members of the press!

DPI Introduces the TITAN 1080p-250 For Home Cinema
Weighing only 59.5 pounds with an operating noise level of less than 35dBa, the compact TITAN 1080p-250 is DPI's smallest Professional Series projector, and provides extensive imaging capability and mechanical flexibility for any home cinema installation. Delivering up to 2,000 ANSI lumens and 5000:1 contrast, the new projector is equipped with the same core features as DP's TITAN 1080p-500 released earlier this year at infoComm.

TheaterScope Premier System To Debut At CEDIA
Similar to DPI's TheaterScope package previously released for its 1280
x 720 resolution projectors, the TheaterScope Premier system includes a
high quality 1.33 anamorphic lens and a precision engineered motorized
lens sled. The new “premier” lens provides a wider aperture, which is required for the larger image size created by the native 1920 x 1080 pixel DMD(s).
The TheaterScope Premier can also be used with DPI's 720p projectors for improved geometry performance. The included motorized sled provides accurate, RS232 controlled positioning of the anamorphic lens in front of the primary projection lens.

DP Introduces Flagship Home Cinema Projector: The HIGHlite Reference 1080p
The HIGHlite Reference 1080p is built on the world's lightest and
smallest 2K x 1K, 3-chip DLP™ platform, and strikes an impressive balance of custom lumen output – from 5,000 up to 14,000 ANSI lumens - and incredibly rich contrast greater than 2000:1. By using 3 x 1.26” DMD's, the projector is capable of displaying video at a resolution of 1920 x 1080, or the even higher 2K digital cinema standard of 2048 x 1080.
Equipped with liquid cooling - for the quietest operation in its class - the HIGHlite Reference 1080p can be installed in medium-to-very large home cinema or media environments, for the precisely calibrated display of any video, HD or computer source.

Popular VIP Series Evolves - Introducing the VIP 2000
Equipped with the same Silicon Optix Realta HQV™ processor as DPI’s original VIP 1000, the VIP 2000 offers a complete solution for image scaling, input switching, video noise reduction and audio follow video routing. Offering all processing with minimal video delay, the VIP 2000 harnesses a series of powerful de-interlacing algorithms to enhance imagery delivered from both standard definition and high definition sources. Additionally, onboard multi-channel audio processing automatically compensates for frame delay, to assure source audio remains synchronized with the post-processed video.

At A Glance: Exploring DP's 1080p Lineup
Although the 1080p platform is just getting started in the marketplace, as many of our customers know, DP has been shipping large venue projectors with 2K native resolution for more than 2 years. That experience puts us in a very strong position to expertly harness the imaging benefits of the new 1080p DMD’s throughout the rest of our product line. Quite frankly, it is a natural extension!

In addition to our expanded range of 1080p products, Digital Projection will also be screening our newest platform, the X-1, in our booth at CEDIA. Although the X-1 won’t commence shipping until early 2007, it represents the exciting new entry level within our 1080p product line. Entry level does not imply limited performance though. Key specifications include a dynamic iris, greater than 10000:1 contrast and 400-watt Xenon-based illumination from a compact and low cost lamp system. Stop by our booth to screen the X-1, along with a select group of our other Home Cinema products!
DP's 4th Quarter Marketing/Advertising Campaign
Digital Projection is pleased to announce that we have recently launched a broad home cinema media/advertising campaign spanning the remainder of 2006. We will be running ads in 4 publications over the next 3 months, for a total of 12 impressions. Additionally, we are supplementing our advertising message with a wealth of new product and application news for editorial consideration.
Digital Projection will also be hosting a press conference at CEDIA to formally introduce the TITAN 1080p-250, the VIP 2000, the HIGHlite Reference 1080p and the TheaterScope Premier System to members of the media.
We hope that this investment will provide new and exciting opportunities for our dealer network to cultivate into sales. Beginning this month, be sure to watch for our advertisements, and use this increased exposure to our mutual benefit.
