Digital Projection's CEDIA Unveiling

DP Technology will be Rockin' Everywhere at CEDIA 2010!

We can hardly believe it, but CEDIA is less than a week away. DP’s trucks just pulled away from our dock last night, and our lead team is already on show site, commencing the construction of our 3000 square foot exhibit. Plenty of work to be done, but we are ready for the challenge!

Our exhibit on the show floor will encompass an impressive Reception Lobby, with no less than 8 TITAN 1080p projectors presenting dramatic welcome imagery on, among other things, a sweeping 40’ SuperNova Infinity screen from DNP. These 8 projectors will comprise 16 million pixels, 80,000 lumens and billions of colors, so as you can imagine, there won't be anything like DP’s reception presentation anywhere else on the show floor.

Osbee Industries, a high-end AV integrations firm in New York, recently completed an elite home theater that can easily rival even the most updated commercial theater.

The dedicated theater in this 10,000+ square foot NY estate had to, in the words of the client, "achieve movie-theater quality audio and video."

The dedicated theater features DP's TITAN Reference 1080p-3D projector with anamorphic lens, a 180” wide curved, acoustically-transparent screen with motorized masking, Crestron ADMS Intermedia Delivery System and a movie-theater quality audio system that pumps 4,000 watts of power to twelve speakers and four 15” subwoofers, all of which are hidden behind acoustic panels.

Osbee Industries chose the TITAN Reference 1080p-3D for its image quality, 3D capability and variety of lens options, not to mention the brightness and contrast performance.

The client's reaction has been overwhelmingly positive. Dave Raines, CEO of Osbee Industries, remarked, "The client has repeated on numerous occasions how the theater is simply unbelievable! They cannot believe how clear the imagery is."
