CEDIA 2007 Wrap Up
Last month at CEDIA in Denver, CO., DP introduced our newest home cinema products - from the very small single-chip DLP® projectors up to our newest elite series, the Reference 1080p.
This year, DP's booth presentation took the viewer on a guided tour of our product capabilities. Beginning with a segment served by Dataton's WATCHOUT system, our viewers were treated with a sample of ultra-high resolution graphics, showcasing the incredible color-depth and clarity of our 100% DLP® product line. Next, we demonstrated the power and precision of our iVision, dVision, TITAN and Reference series projectors as the latest Hollywood trailers were available for side-by-side comparision. During the entire presentation, "commentary screens" were utilized to take our viewers on a self-guided tour of our products and technology.

Digital Projection To Host Upcoming ISF Commercial Training
DP will host a two day training course at our headquarters outside of Atlanta, GA on November 15-16th. Covering a range of display technologies, the course will consist of instruction on the science of light and color and how the human eye reacts to the images it sees.
A key factor of ISF-C training is the focus on the science and the art of calibration. Attendees will not only learn a variety of calibration techniques, but also gain the in-depth knowledge to understand external variables and how they affect perception. The unique mission of ISF-C training is to not only teach the essential skills, but also the purpose behind the techniques.
ISF-C is rapidly becoming a prominent credential for dealers and integrators to possess. DP's George Walter and Chuck Collins are among the board of advisors for ISF-C, recently joined by the chief display engineer for the Academy Awards.
Space is limited - don't miss this great opportunity!

UPDATE: DPI GSA Contract
Digital Projection has elected to discontinue our GSA contract as of October 9, 2007.
DP conducts a significant amount of business with Federal Government users through our dealers. However, over the years we have determined that the majority of Government purchases are transacted at open market pricing, rather than the pre-negotiated GSA pricing. Thus, we conclude that maintaining a GSA contract is no longer necessary or beneficial.
We are confident that this decision will not adversely affect our government business, and we are certain that our dealers will continue to be successful in open market pricing proposals to government customers.
Dealers active in government transactions who hold their own GSA contracts, are free to add DP products to those contracts. If you have any questions regarding Digital Projection and government sales, please contact your regional manager
Current Product Availability
Digital Projection has a number of important product transitions taking place over Q4 of 2007. We wanted to share some of the details to assure our customers have good visibility of how these transitions impact product availability.
iVision 20 Series
The iVision 20 series has already transitioned to the new Brilliant Color™ and ColorMax™ enabled versions. This affects all iVision SX+ and iVision HD products. The primary benefits relate to maximum lumens and/or improved color space and color saturation. All the details can be found in our current pricing, but please know, DP will fill orders for new iVision 20 series projectors with the new and improved platform.
iVision 30 Series
The new iVision 30 series will commence shipping during the 2nd half of November. These higher brightness SX+ and native 1080p displays also employ Brilliant Color™ and DP's exclusive ColorMax™ technology, so it is fair to say they represent the absolute state of the art in single-chip DLP® performance. We have a small backlog right now, but we have plenty of projectors planned for production so we are confident that most, if not all current orders will be shipped by the end of November.
The new ColorMax™ and Brilliant Color™ enabled dVision-30 series will commence shipping in the 2nd half of November as well. Although we have many of these projectors planned for production, we have a rapidly growing backlog for these new products. Thus, we believe new orders received as of the date of this newsletter will be delivered in the first half of December. DP still holds a good inventory of all current dVision projectors, in both new inventory and discounted demo inventory, so if your applications require installation before December, place (or convert) your P.O.'s to the classic dVision models. We can ship them within days, ARO.
TITAN Pro Series II
TITAN SX+ and 1080p models: With the exception of the high brightness 600 series, all models of these platforms are shipping in good quantities now. Of course, demand for 3-chip 1080p is pretty overwhelming, so we still have a large backlog that we are working through. Speak with your DP Regional Manager or any of our Customer Service Specialists if you need a specific delivery quote for a new order.
LIGHTNING Pro Series II
LIGHTNING SX+ and 1080p: Demand is at an all time high for both of these product platforms, but production is keeping pace. Plan 30 days ARO for new orders. If you need more rapid delivery, speak with your DP Regional Manager.
LIGHTNING HD-T - Stay tuned for a very important announcement regarding the evolution of this platform. Although we are not quite ready with a press release, we can provide a hint: As of September, customers ordering our Flagship LIGHTNING 40 HD-T were already getting a much higher level of performance then the specifications promised!
