DP Announces HUGE Expansion of M-Vision Cine Product Line
DP Announces HUGE Expansion of M-Vision Cine Product Line

When DP launched the first of our M-Vision series displays last year, we already had a proven, successful single-chip DLP product line in place. The new high-value, high-performance M-Visions were initially introduced to address a key pricepoint gap in our product line offering.

Suffice to say, the M-Visions have been an unprecedented success. So popular, in fact, that we've been hard at work evolving the platform in order to fully address a diverse array of applications.

The M-Vision series has rapidly expanded to now include high-contrast and high-brightness single-lamp models, high-brightness dual-lamp models, LED and even 3D models. From home cinema to gaming to corporate and Houses of Worship, there is now a product in the M-Vision lineup to suit nearly any task. And all for price points previously unavailable in the DP precision display line.

The following outlines the available projectors within each category:

M-Vision Cine-230 - APPROX. MSRP=$6,995-$7,495 - 1,000 lumens/3000:1 contrast
- will be unveiled in Nov. pricing update

M-Vision 260 HC & HB - MSRP=$8,495-$8,995
- up to 3,500 lumens/up to 3000:1 contrast

M-Vision Cine 400 - MSRP=$11,995-$12,495
- 5,500 lumens/2000:1 contrast

M-Vision Cine LED - MSRP=$15,995-$16,995
- 600 lumens/10,000:1 contrast

M-Vision Cine 3D - APPROX. MSRP=$17,995-$18,495 - 5,500 lumens/2,000:1 contrast
- will be unveiled in Nov. pricing update

Attend the Upcoming ISF Seminar for FREE and Get CTS/OSCE Credits

While Digital Projection display products always look great right out to the box, we have always been a staunch believer in display optimization through the proper use of calibration tools.

We are excited to announce that through special arrangements with Brawn Consulting, we are able to waive the tuition for a very informative and educational 2-Day Imaging Science Foundation Commercial seminar taking place November 8th and 9th in Seattle, Washington.

We urge all of our business partners and customers in the Pacific Northwest—or around the world—to attend this unique opportunity.

The first day will feature the science of color, light and the human eye, as well as specifications and what they mean in the display industry. Included will be a full overview of existing display technologies. The second day will be dedicated to hands-on screen optimization and calibration techniques and an overview of where we are at with the development of the new ANSI standard for contrast in projected image systems.

There will be current examples of all display technologies, including flat panels to projection solutions from the “who’s who” of the display industry. Additionally, there will be test equipment from Gamma Scientific, Konica Minolta, Klein, XRite and Quantum Data to name a few and will feature the newest edition of SpectraCal’s, CalMAN v.4 software. In short, there will be representative examples of some of the best technologies today.

Attendees will see first-hand the difference in quality in all brands that an optimized image produces. The goal is to take the best and make them even better through demonstrations of how each display reacts to proper calibration with state-of-the-art instrumentation. Attendees will also see how each measuring tools work to achieve quality goals.

As a final note, this event will qualify for 16 renewal unit credits for the InfoComm CTS program and also DSCE credits as well in digital signage. If you would like more information or a pass to the event, contact your DP regional manager or Alan Brawn via alan@brawnconsulting.com.
