Risk and Reward: Digital Projection's InfoComm 2012 New Product Launch and Wrap Up

Important InfoComm 2012 Update

2012 marks DP's historic 15 year anniversary, and to honor this milestone, DP completely revamped the physical layout, as well as the philosophy, of how we present our powerful projectors at InfoComm. Our goal at every InfoComm is to help our dealers understand the flexibility and performance of our vast product line. Since almost 90% of our commercial dealers install our displays in venues with ambient light, we decided to present how each of our products perform with plentiful ambient light falling on the screens. Essentially, the opposite approach to the more cavelike environments that are typically created by other projector manufacturers on the show floor. This was a risky approach, to be sure, but well worth the risk, as our dealers and partners alike were unanimously thrilled with the brightness, color performance and overall image quality of the product line. Even when exposed to extreme amounts of tradeshow lighting.

Additionally, newly launched products such as the E-Vision 8000 series displays wowed the crowds. And the ever-dependable, 16,000 lumen TITAN Quads ensured that both the InfoComm Keynote and the Rental & Staging forums had extremely bright, large-scale imagery to accent their messaging.

Never before have DP's dealers had so many capable options at so many price points. And this is only another step in our pragmatic expansion as we bring precision displays to even more applications and markets across the world. Needless to say, it's a great time to be a DP dealer and partner.

We'd like to thank the dealers, consultants, reps and industry partners that came to visit us at the show. Additionally, we want to extend a special thank-you to our in-booth partners DNP Screens and Show Sage (WatchOut) for their expertise and partnership. In particular, we must recognize DNP for their SuperNova Screens, which do an amazing job of preserving projector black level in high ambient light. The SuperNova screens provided by DNP were a vital component of the great imagery we produced in our high ambient light InfoComm exhibit.

Digital Projection's Vendor partners
Digital Projection also keeps company with some of the most committed innovators in the Industry, so beyond the array of displays we presented in our booth, DP projectors were hard at work in many partner manufacturers' exhibits, including Crestron, Stewart Filmscreen, RP Visual Solutions, Scalable Displays and DNP. It's great to have good partners.

Digital Projection's Vendor partners
A final thanks to the consultants that attended our briefing and luncheon. We had a terrific turnout for a first-time event, and look forward to creating some of the tools and assets that were discussed in our forums.

Let us know how we can help you achieve your commercial AV goals in 2012. We'd be glad to help.
