RGB Laser

3 Chip RGB pure lasers utilize direct Red, Green and Blue creating clean and accurate primary colors. This produces a wider color gamut, making them a perfect choice for installations that require colour accuracy in their displayed content.

3 Chip RGB pure laser projectors have specifically chosen wavelengths that optimize the primary colors to achieve >98% of Rec 2020 color space which greatly improves color performance.

With Rec. 2020, you get more than twice the color of Rec. 709 projectors and 41% more than DCI-P3 so you can better represent real-world colors and dramatically improve the image quality.

Laser Phosphor VS RGB Laser

  • Laser Phosphor has a wide red and green wavelength, blue is still narrow (direct blue).
  • The narrow bandwidth of RGB laser gives the appearance of a shaper color which increases the definition of edges.
  • The wider bandwidth of Laser Phosphor gives the appearance of a color blur which reduces the definition of edges.
  • Color blur is a function of how broad each color band is rather than lens performance.

A narrower wavelength = a sharper image
