One of the most significant differentiators of DP’s HIGHlite Satellite MLS is its revolutionary two-piece design. Digital Projection was thrilled to exhibit our current technology for the residential entertainment industry at the CEDIA Tech Summits.
On November 14-20, 2022, Digital Projection participated at LDI. LDI is a show that caters to Live Event Designers. In the past, Digital Projection has been a critical supplier to rental and staging companies. These days, Digital Projection is being used more often in Performing Arts venues as well as other “visitor attraction” venues such as amusement parks and museums.
Digital Projection partnered with an industry leader, AV Franklin. AV Franklin provides a variety of live event and staging products, including set elements, stage lightning, and of course great quality screens.
Digital Projection used AV Franklin’s booth at the show to display 2 incredibly popular projectors. On one screen we displayed one of our most dependable high-brightness 1-chip projectors, the M-Vision 21000. Illuminated by both red and blue lasers, this color accurate 20,000 lumen projector is an affordable workhorse! It is popular in large auditoriums, sanctuaries, and many other venues where large bright screens are a necessity.
We also displayed our revolutionary new Satellite Modular Laser System. It is a modular projection system that provides for a small projection head that is separated from modular light sources via a fiber optic cable. Our proprietary cable system allows the whisper quiet head to be installed up to 100 meters away from its light source. The entire system operates on 110V and can be as bright as 40,000 lumens.
LDI enjoyed great crowds in Las Vegas and the buzz around our new Satellite projector series was one of the main talking points at the show.
Our display products need to be seen to be fully appreciated, and that was accomplished at LDI.

Manchester (UK), 22. September 2022 – Digital Projection stellt Kevin Bateman und Brahim Belal ein, die das EMEA-Team als Training & Products Manager bzw. Pre-Sales Application & Support Engineer verstärken werden.
Kevin Bateman ist seit kurzem im EMEA-Team und untersteht als Training & Products Manager direkt dem Vice President of Global Marketing des Unternehmens, Mark Wadsworth. Batemans Hauptaufgabe besteht darin, die Produkt-Roadmap auf der Grundlage von umfangreichem Benutzer-Feedback zu entwickeln.
Bateman ist auch mit der Durchführung von Schulungsprogrammen und der Steigerung der Verkaufsmenge/Verbesserung der Kundenkenntnisse über Digital Projection-Produkte durch Entwicklung eines umfassenden persönlichen und Online-Produktschulungsprogramms für die gesamte Produktlinie betraut.
Da er bereits Erfahrungen mit namhaften Herstellern wie Hitachi und Epson gesammelt hat, fand er rasch Zugang zu seinen neuen Aufgaben: „Nach einigen Monaten bei Digital Projection kann ich bereits sehen, dass das Unternehmen eine große Zukunft vor sich hat“, sagt er. „Ich freue mich sehr, für eine so erfolgreiche und etablierte Marke zu arbeiten, und hoffe, dass meine Fähigkeiten das weitere Wachstum von Digital Projection in Europa unterstützen.“
Der zweite Neuzugang von Digital Projection, Belal, verfügt über mehr als 11 Jahre Erfahrung in der Pro-AV-Branche, darunter neun Jahre bei Christie, bevor er beim französischen Kinointegrator 2AVI und bei SensDigital, einem Spezialisten für vernetzte Geräte und Software, arbeitete. Seine Bestellung wird den technischen Support in der EMEA-Region – hauptsächlich in Frankreich und auf dem europäischen Festland – verstärken.
Belal untersteht Trevor Middlemas, Technical Operations Manager, und wird in dieser neuen Position zunächst das Verkaufsteam bei verschiedenen laufenden Projekten technisch unterstützen sowie Kunden beraten und ihnen helfen, die besten Lösungen für ihre Bedürfnisse zu finden.

Digital Projection has hired Jérôme Cadilhac as its business development manager for the South of France, a newly created role, effective immediately.
Cadilhac will report to Digital Projection’s EMEA sales and marketing manager, Dirk Siedle, as well as working closely with Stéphane Bourdon, Digital Projection’s historical sales manager for France, Spain, Portugal, and North Africa.
“I have been working in the audio-visual world since 2006,” said Cadilhac. “After five years at French AV wholesaler, IXAM, I spent nine years at Christie Digital Systems, where I was first in charge of projector, LED, and media server distribution in the South of France, then across the country for the company’s new ‘Enterprise’ vertical.
“These 14 years of experience in the field mean that I have an excellent grasp of the various distribution networks in France and have built solid relationships with the main players in the market; from integrators and service providers to design offices and wholesalers.”
Although Cadilhac’s designated sector will be ‘South of France’ he will also be involved more widely with major key accounts thanks to his pre-existing relationships with the companies.
“I’ve known about the potential of Digital Projection’s product range for a long time,” said Cadilhac. “Stéphane Bourdon has done excellent work for over a decade, and now is the perfect time to strengthen the team and the brand’s dominance in the French market when other players seem to be pulling back.
“Digital Projection is a company that is as innovative as it is adaptable. The company has been very smart in the way it’s been growing over the years, and their new RGB laser range (with the Satellite MLS) is a particularly good illustration of this. Despite its reach, the team remains close on an interpersonal level, and the managers are dynamic and attentive to the teams in the field, an environment I look forward to returning to.”
Cadilhac identified Digital Projection’ cutting edge 3-Chip DLP® laser RGB Satellite MLS as one of the key products for the company moving forward along with the Radiance LED range.
