MultiView is set to have a huge impact on the future of VR without Head Mounted Displays.

Our INSIGHT HFR 360 MultiView projector was first shown at ISE to much acclaim and is set to have a huge impact on the future of VR without Head Mounted Displays.

With Multi-View 3D projection, a single projector, with ultra-fast frame rates will accommodate several viewers, each being tracked and each having a view of the image that remains appropriate to their changing position. This allows the users to see and interact with each other in a truly shared collaborative manner.

The video below has been created by our parnters at the University of Weimar

To enable users to view images from their correct perspective, each user must be tracked to 6 Degrees of Freedom [6DOF] and Digital Projection has worked with leading industry partners in head tracking to achieve this. In every way, Digital Projection provides truly collaborative technology.

New DP Configurator Tool Makes Radiance LED Video Walls Easy to Design and Install

There’s an art and science that goes into the design and installation of LED video walls—neither of which is particularly easy. DP has simplified the process significantly with the introduction of a new online LED Configuration Tool. By inputting a few specs—display height, width, pixel pitch, and viewing distance–you get a complete video wall design customized to the specific application. You’ll know the type, size, and number of Radiance LED panels to buy to achieve the desired imaging experience.

Other details such as the mounting preference, type of venue, number of AV sources, and any on-site services needed can further tailor the final output. Finally, to help your customers visualize the final installation—key to closing more sales—just upload an image of the space in which the video wall will be installed and sample content that will be displayed to generate an accurate rendering of the finished space.

Check out the LED Configurator here.

As always, DP’s customer service and concierge support are available to answer questions and guide you through the design and installation process.

New E-Vision Projectors

Manchester (UK), 22nd January 2024 – At ISE 2024, Digital Projection, a brand of Delta, is pushing the imaging boundaries with the preview of two of its most advanced laser projectors to date. The all new E-Vision 16000i WU boasts a newly upgraded electronics platform that shares much of its functionality from the flagship TITAN series. Totally redesigned from the bottom up, this new E-Vision platform maintains its reputation of exceptional reliability for everything from classrooms to projection mapping, but with a host of new features.

Central to the new design is the implementation of Texas Instruments’ new 0.8” High Efficiency Pixel (HEP) DMD. This new DMD allows for a higher brightness than was previously achievable on the 0.67” DMD, as well as superior colour and contrast without compromising any of the reliability that DLP projectors are known for.

This new DMD is optimised for solid state illumination meaning that we have been able to push the brightness to an unprecedented 16,000 ISO lumens. Add to this the increased tilt angle on the DMD mirrors that allows for a wider colour gamut, and notably, “blacker blacks”, are achieved by diverting light away more efficiently from the lens when the mirror is in the “off” position giving much improved native contrast.

Key to its imaging quality, this laser-phosphor projector is charged with ColorBoost + Red Laser technology to provide the most realistic and saturated colours at previously unreachable luminance levels.

Also new is the E-Vision 10000i, which boasts 9,600 lumens brightness and 20,000:1 dynamic contrast, and shares the same advanced capabilities as the E-Vision 16000i. These features are usually reserved for high-end 3-Chip products, such as Source Redundancy, Brightness Sync and Auto White Balance Correction, making these some of the most capable, flexible Single-Chip DLP projectors on the market today.

Commenting on the booth, Dirk Siedle, General Manager DSBU at Delta EMEA, said, “We continue to bring cutting-edge technology to the display market with products such as the revolutionary Satellite MLS system. These new integrated projectors show our commitment to leading the development of all solid-state projects with some of the most capable, high brightness projectors in the world.”

“It’s Showtime” for Digital Projection with new high-brightness projectors and Modular Light Sources at ISE 2024

The ground-breaking Satellite MLS gets new, improved light sources and fibres.

The revolutionary Satellite MLS has proved incredibly popular over the last few years and has seen a huge demand for even more brightness and efficiency. To satisfy this request from our customers, we have launched 20,000 and 30,000 lumen Modular Light Sources to complement our original 10,000 lumen light source. This makes installations even easier than before by removing the need for “many-to-one” fibre configurations, giving more flexibility. The new fibres with a decreased diameter and higher light transmission efficiency also mean that, when coupled with the new light sources, offer a large reduction in the system cost. These new features make this cutting-edge technology even more accessible than ever before whilst maintaining the amazing near REC2020 colour-space.

TITAN LAser 46000 WU

Also, on show for the first time in Europe is the all new TITAN family of projectors. Launched at InfoComm in the summer of 2023, the 3-Chip power-house projectors have also had a complete platform redesign.

The new TITAN 41000 4K UHD along with the M-Vision 27000 WUXGA – the world’s brightest 1-chip DLP projector on the market – are packed with cutting-edge capabilities, including unprecedented brightness, vibrant colour rendering, a more compact footprint and improved, market-leading efficiency, for exceptionally bright, accurate, lifelike images for a wide range of commercial environments.

The new TITAN family of laser projectors delivers up to 47,000 lumens at WUXGA and 41,000 lumens at 4K-UHD resolutions and both models incorporate Digital Projection’s ColorBoost +Red Laser technology, which utilises red laser alongside the traditional blue laser phosphor system to display brilliant, vibrant colours.

Built into the TITAN 41000 4K UHD (3840×2160) projector chassis are several leading-edge technologies that make it a choice imaging solution for higher-end large venue applications, such as auditoria, performing arts centres, visitor attraction venues, houses of worship, and rental and staging.

The new TITAN family is a huge leap forward over the popular current models, with many aspects completely reimagined and re-engineered for efficiency and size. The new model is 15% more efficient when measuring the lumens-per-watt output than the current TITAN and superior to the closest competitor, firmly putting down the TITAN’s green credentials alongside its already legendary status as a projection powerhouse. Add to this the extended 40,000 hours illumination lifetime in ECO mode and the dust-proof, filterless design, the TITAN is designed to run and run and run with minimal fuss in 24/7 environments.

The extra power and capability have also been engineered into a much more compact chassis, meaning it is 27% brighter, 13.3% smaller, 7.4% lighter and 3dBA quieter than the current model. This regains the TITAN’s position as the Smallest, Lightest, Brightest and Quietest projector in its class.

Manchester (UK), 11th January 2025 – Digital Projection will paint the town red (and green, and blue) at Integrated Systems Europe 2025, showcasing its cutting-edge new 1-chip projectors – which incorporate Texas Instruments’ groundbreaking High-Efficiency-Pixel (HEP) DMD for never-before-seen colour accuracy and native contrast – and Nexus electronics platform, for unparalleled precision and control over projector installations.

Under the banner of its new campaign, We Love Colour, the Digital Projection stand (3K700, in ISE Hall 3) will centre on the unprecedented colour reproduction offered by the company’s state-of-the-art new 1-chip DLP projectors: the E-Vision 16000i-WU and E-Vision 10000i RGB 4K+.

Powered by a 0.8” HEP digital micromirror device (DMD), the E-Vision 16000i-WU features increased mirror tilt angle for improved light efficiency and ‘filled via’ technology for higher native contrast, delivering unprecedented image quality, brightness and efficiency. Digital Projection’s proprietary ColorBoost + Red Laser technology further enhances the E-Vision 16000i’s visual capabilities, achieving reds and a colour gamut that far exceeds REC709 standards.

ISE 2025 Digital Projection

The new E-Vision RGB represents a further leap forward in 1-chip projection technology, achieving the full REC 2020 colour space at 4K+ resolution, for cinematic-grade visuals without the artefacts associated with traditional 1-Chip DLP projectors with colour wheels. With 10,000 lumens and HDR support, the RGB laser-illuminated E-Vision RGB delivers stunningly realistic visuals with dynamic contrast ratios of up to 10,000:1.

Demonstrating that Digital Projection has a projector for every project and application, booth 3K700 will additionally be home to the M-Vision 30000 WU – with 30,000 lumens the brightest 1-chip DLP projector on the market – and the E-Vision 15000i 4K+, which features the same 0.8” HEP DMD as the 16000i, and excels in multi-channel set-ups thanks to its Nexus electronics platform and is perfect for blending due to the extra pixels the 4K+ resolution affords.

Ahead of ISE, the company has reiterated its “performance guaranteed” promise with a market-leading five-year warranty, underscoring its commitment to its customers and confidence in the quality of its projectors.

Digital Projection unleashes the power of 1-chip DLP technology at ISE 2025

Digital Projection has released Projector Simulator, a free web-based application which helps users choose a suitable projector for their fixed installation, rental staging and video mapping needs.

Projection Simulator offers a comprehensive suite of features, including calculating throw distances between screens and projectors, as well as determining the relationships between the size and distance of the projected image. The tool also provides recommendations for optimal projector placement.

With the user’s convenience in mind, the software offers two modes: Single Projection and Multi Projection. In Single Projection mode, one projector is available, in Multi Projection mode, users can import, select and arrange 3D objects, such as domes and curved screens, and map onto them, helping users to pre-install projectors simulated in an install scenario.

The application also assists those unsure of their projector requirements, suggesting projectors that align with the user’s needs, and displaying the basic specifications of the product, such as resolution and brightness, as well as a photo. However, if users know what type of projector they need, the tool will show a list of projectors by projector type.

Moreover, users of Projection Simulator can fine-tune their own installation conditions, accounting for room size, screen settings and projection position, as well as being able to visualise the position of the projector in a 2D view (from side, front and top), along with 3D areas. The software additionally alerts users if the projected image intersects with walls, ceilings, or floors, ensuring a seamless projection experience in the real world. Users can also save, delete or download the results.

“We’re thrilled to introduce Projection Simulator – a free-to-access tool that simplifies complex decisions and reflects our commitment to enhance customers’ visual experience by making sure they make the right choice for their unique needs,” says Mark Wadsworth, Digital Projection vice president of global marketing.

Available in nine languages, Projection Simulator is easily accessed (with no download required) from Digital Projection’s website: digitalprojection.co.uk/dpcalculator
