ATLANTA, GA – April 6, 2017 – Digital Projection International (DPI), an Emmy® Award-winning manufacturer of high-performance projection and fine-pitch LED video wall systems, is now shipping their 10,500 lumen E-Vision LASER 10k projector. Stepping into the product line just above the successful E-Vision LASER 8500, the new 10K becomes the flagship projector in DP’s high-value E-Vision series. The 3D capable E-Vision LASER 10K produces an impressive 10,500 lumens delivered through DPI’s 20,000+ hour laser illumination technology which is engineered to provide both high brightness and excellent color performance for the long term. This ‘lamp free’ laser projector provides users with a virtually maintenance-free solution compared to traditional lamp-based projectors which require routine and costly lamp replacements. Other capabilities include built-in edge blend, 3D capability, HDBaseT® connectivity, and a DICOM Simulation Mode for medical imaging. Like all E-Vision series projectors, the E-Vision 10K is complemented by a broad range of high-performance projection lenses. The lens suite provides motorized zoom, focus, and image shift across throw ratios as short as .38:1 and as long as 8:1. Digital Projection’s confidence inspiring 3-year warranty and best-in-industry customer services are standard with every display solution the company offers.

With dependability and low maintenance inherent in their design, Digital Projection’s E-Vision LASER projectors provide the lowest cost of ownership due to the laser illumination system’s extensive 20,000-hour life-span. Because there are no lamps to replace or expensive maintenance costs to endure, the end-user saves money over time while not worrying about any possibility of lamp failure. Adding to the cost of ownership and dependability benefits, the E-Vision LASER 10K projector can be oriented in nearly any position for unsurpassed installation flexibility. This allows DPI’s customers to place rich, large-scale imagery in practically any venue and on any projection surface, without sacrificing projector performance, reliability or image quality.

The E-Vision Laser 10K’s whopping 10,500 lumens are backed by an impactful 10,000:1 contrast ratio to maximize the on-screen dynamic range of any displayed content. Even in applications where some ambient light is present, E-Vision 10K owners will still be able to display rich & vibrant imagery. DPI’s E-Vision LASER 10K projector also includes a wide range of inputs to accommodate a diversity of sources including DVI, HDMI and the HDBaseT®

Featuring the same proven electronics & functionality as the E-Vision Laser 8500, the E-Vision LASER 10K packs in a full list of features including:

  • 10,500 Lumens
  • 10,000:1 Contrast Ratio
  • Built-in Edge Blend Capability
  • Projector Control Software
  • 3D Capability
  • Geometry Correction
  • Nearly Limitless Projector Orientation
  • A Selection of 8 High-Performance Lenses With Motorized Focus, Zoom and Shift
  • Intelligent Lens Memory
  • DICOM Simulation Mode
  • Displayport (1.1a), DVI and HDMI Inputs
  • HDBaseT® interface Via CAT5e/6 LAN Cable
  • Crestron RoomView® Connected

For applications requiring large imagery without the traditional projection light path, the E-Vision Laser 10K can be paired with DPI’s newly launched 0.38:1 Ultra Short Throw (UST) lens. Combining this projector with the UST lens enables users to create images from 7’ to 24’ wide without requiring the throw distance normally associated with traditional projection lenses.

The E-Vision Laser 10K is already shipping in North America and will be displayed in Digital Projection’s booth #3443 at InfoComm 2017 in Orlando Florida, from June 14 – 16, 2017.
