Digital Projection's massive "Precision Displays for EVERY Venue" booth delivered the most tradeshow traffic and badge registrations in the company's history. As many manufacturers focused on updates to existing products, DPI went big. Two brand-new product lines were launched, introducing tens of thousands of attendees to both the single-chip E-Vision line and 3-chip HIGHlite Cine product line. Numerous large-image blends throughout the show demonstrated the power and precision of DPI's new FUSION suite of low-latency warp and blend solutions. In regards to DPI's uncontested lead in the advanced 3D visualization category, DPI and Mechdyne partnered to demonstrate real-world commercial 3D applications on an immersive dome. And these were only the beginning.

Thank you to everyone who spent time with us in Las Vegas. From dealers to consultants to industry partners and end users, we relish the individual time we get to spend with each of you. Below you can read our show recap, view and download updated product literature, view an overview of new products launched at the show, and contact your regional manager for more information.

Let us know how we can assist you. And thank you again for making InfoComm 2010 a historical event for Digital Projection International.

Our exhibit consisted of two distinct areas: a “Meet and Greet” applications venue and a Precision Displays Gallery / Ultimate 3D Theater. Visible from far beyond the booth, show attendees were welcomed in the “Meet and Greet” area by a massive curved 40' DNP SuperNova Infinity screen. Five TITAN WUXGA 700 projectors, seamlessly edge-blended to display product images, application shots and high-resolution photos, lit the screen for a truly larger-than-life spectacle. DP's new Fusion 3D processor, capable of almost zero latency warp and blend for high resolution and 3D displays, performed the seamless blend.

Commanding the right side of the "Meet and Greet" area was a huge 12' tall x 7.5' wide AeroView 90 rear projection screen, provided by Stewart Filmscreen. Three of DP's brand-new 2560 x 1600 resolution dVision 35-WQXGA displays produced 10 MILLION PIXELS of seamlessly blended high-resolution imagery. Blending was once again supplied by the new Fusion 3D processor.

Through a system engineering collaboration with Mechdyne, four TITAN WUXGA Dual 3D projectors presented everything from mapping to eye tracking and even 3D gaming content on a four meter Immersive Displays dome. Commanding and distinct, the dome was featured on the cover of the InfoComm Daily's first issue. The significant warp and blend for projecting onto the dome surface was again provided by DP’s new Fusion 3D processors.

Passing through the Meet and Greet area, show attendees entered DP’s Precision Displays Gallery and Ultimate 3D Theater. Our Precision Displays Gallery provided the opportunity to view our newest single and 3-chip products under both ambient light and theatrically dark conditions. More than nine front projection screens, all provided courtesy of Stewart Filmscreen, were lit with bright and beautiful imagery throughout the gallery spaces.

To the left resided DP's single chip showcase gallery. Five screens varying in size displayed the depth and diversity of DP's single-chip product line, including the brand new E-Vision high brightness, high value product line. The E-Vision WXGA-600's 6,000 lumens for less than $6,000 MSRP was a constant source of discussion as it introduced DP's engineering precision to a wide array of new opportunities. An iVision 20-1080p, dVision 35-WQXGA, brand-new M-Vision Cine 400 and M-Vision Cine 260 also demonstrated the expanding range of DP's single-chip product line.

As DP is synonymous with the most immersive, inspiring 3D entertainment imaginable for both residential and commercial venues, we couldn't pass up the chance to introduce even more AV industry members to single-projector, full resolution 3D. Through a licensing partnership with Disney, we showed new 3D footage from Disney and Pixar in a dedicated theater, courtesy of the award-winning TITAN 1080p-3D.

In yet another new product line unveiling, we displayed the new 3,500 lumen HIGHlite Cine 3-chip DLP projector atop our TITAN 1080p-700 for comparison and contrast. Visually striking yet remarkably affordable for such a precision display, the HIGHlite was yet another show stealer.

Featured in show dailies and industry publications alike, DP unveiled three brand-new LED Lifetime Illumination displays at InfoComm. The new dVision 30-1080p LED, dVision 30-WUXGA LED and dVision 35-WQXGA join the existing M-Vision Cine LED to round out the most comprehensive line of DLP LED projectors available today.

A special thank-you to our show partners that chose DP's precision displays for their booths. Stewart Filmscreen, Crestron, DNP screens, RP Visuals and VuTec had DP projectors delivering a wide array of gorgeous imagery in their booths. And, of course, thank you to everyone that spent time with us at the show. Also, congratulations to Richard Hill, DP's Southeastern regional sales manager, who missed InfoComm due to the birth of a healthy baby boy. The future looks very bright indeed for DP, our dealers, end users and industry partners.
