Digital Projection to Introduce New Portrait and Landscape 3D Projectors
Digital Projection to Introduce New Portrait and Landscape 3D Projectors

** Please note a change in nomenclature - "-S" products are now named "-L" **

Like any demanding projection application, 3D requires the right projection tool for the job. With more 3D application experience than any other projector manufacturer, DP’s well established TITAN 3D product line already represents the most comprehensive and capable range of 3D displays available in the world. Forget what our competitors claim - it is a fact that DP’s array of TITAN and LIGHTNING 3D solutions exceeds the number 3-chip 3D displays offered by all of our competitors combined.

As we said, always use the right tool for the job.

With that vital thought in mind, DP is poised to launch six new TITAN 3D projectors. We proudly introduce the:

    • TITAN 1080p-3D-L
    • TITAN WUXGA-3D-L
    • TITAN SX+ 3D-L
    • TITAN 1080p-3D P
    • TITAN WUXGA-3D-P
    • TITAN SX+ 3D-P

The new TITAN 3D models with the “L” suffix in the product name are designed to operate at any tilt angle in Landscape orientation. These projectors can thus be installed level with earth, pointing straight up, straight down, or anywhere in between, with absolutely no degradation of lamp performance or lamp life. This “lens-over-tail tumble” capability defines TITAN 3D-“L” units as exceptional solutions for any landscape application where the projector needs to be pointed up or down at a steep angle, such as dome venues or rear projection venues employing mirrors.

The new TITAN 3D models with a “P” suffix in the product name are designed to operate at any side-to-side tilt angle, including full Portrait orientation, with absolutely no degradation of lamp performance or lamp life. In a portrait application, the projectoris literally placed on its side, rotating the projected image 90 degrees, such that it is taller than it is wide. As an example, in a portrait application, the 16 x 9 native aspect ratio of the TITAN 1080p-3D-P would be presented to the screen as 16 (units) tall x 9 (units) wide.

Regardless of the application that DP’s TITAN 3D “L” or “P” products are deployed to illuminate, our rugged and mechanically flexible RapidRig rigging frame is an easy-to-add option that assures simplicity in rigging TITANs in any mechanical orientation required. Yet another case of DP delivering the right tool for the job.

All six of the new “L” and “P” versions of TITAN 3D projectors will be offered on our new February pricing, and available for shipment right away. Feel free to contact your DP regional manager by clicking here if you need more information in advance of the pricing release.
