Theo Kalomirakis is a household name within the consumer AV industry. His theater designs garner worldwide fame, and as such he is commissioned to create private theaters for clients around the world. HGTV's 'Million Dollar Rooms' program recently featured Theo's Ziegfeld Theater, the project that Theo considers his 'first real theater'. Though designed over 25 years ago, the theater has stood the test of time thanks to timeless design and key AV updates with the help of custom integrations company Audio Video Intelligent Systems.

TK Theaters and AVIS rely on Digital Projection Theo's reputation for creating lush, detailed theater environments for his clients has been built through a storied career that spans over 25 years. The Ziegfeld Theater, one of Theo's first theaters, signified his desire to bring his client's vision to life. Details such as the custom marquee, client-supplied Hollywood memorbilia, and marble floors only hint at the amount of detail placed in this lavish lobby and theater. In conjunction with custom integrations firm Audio Video Intelligent Systems, the Ziegfeld theater is a masterpiece in visual presentation as well as entertainment experience.

TK Theaters and AVIS rely on Digital Projection Having seen four major AV upgrades throughout the past 25 years, the theater's most recent update contains a 'Who's Who' list of ultra-precision entertainment components. A Digital Projection TITAN Reference 1080p 3D projector, working in concert with a 155" Stewart CineCurve screen, delivers stunning movie experiences within the 13-seat theater.

The list of audio components includes JBL, Revel, Mark Levinson and Krell, ensuring power and balance from an audio perspective. Both Kaleidescape and S1Digital media servers organize the client's entertainment reserves. A Crestron system controlls the theater.

TK Theaters and AVIS rely on Digital Projection
Theo takes each of his projects to heart in a way that is almost unmatched in the luxury AV industry, commenting, "I make an emotional investment in the actual work I have to do and in the opportunity to develop relationships with my clients." This combination of personal accountability and obsessive attention to detail has earned TK Theaters numerous awards through their career, and we cannot wait to see what he creates next.
